I HATE SBI ENOUGH TO MAKE THIS BLOG

To start off, I AM an affiliate marketer, but I am NOT marketing anything in this blog. I created this blog because it is 1 AM and I feel really hyper and need to vent my anger. So remember, this blog will have ABSOLUTELY NO PROMOTION OF ANY TYPE OF PRODUCT AT ALL. There will only be my 100% HONEST OPINION OF SBI.

Let's start, shall we?

Now, I am 16 years old, and I was very intrigued with affiliate marketing. Currently I make an average of $45 a day, so I extremely far from an "expert" marketer, but I am getting closer to a "successful" one.

Anyways, if you look up affiliate marketing (or anything even related to that) it is inevitable that you will see advertisements for the fat-cat company "Site Sell" and their awesome product "Site Build It".

You are probably pretty excited about the 100's of testimonies stating how they made thousands of dollars and quit their day job; I know I was. But those are affiliates. Anyone can make up a story and say they were successful. Just as I could of made this all up. Yes, I know, it's a big circle.

First off, Site Build It (SBI) and their legion of affiliates promise ridiculously unrealistic support and results.

Financial independence? Anyone can do it? Latest Technology?

Please. I think that is quite deceiving, Mr. SBI.

Now I admit to having purchased this $300 product (which also bought some affiliate a nice dinner) because of the overwhelming promises of wealth and guaranteed success.

I was so excited as my mom handed me her credit card, but was a little bit disappointed when I first entered the members area. It looked virtually the same as the free area, and I also noticed that the member eBooks were almost the same as the free ones. Still hopeful, I continued to video section.

I have to admit, the video section was nicely done and the graphics and commentary make it easy to understand. However, a lot of the parts were unnecessarily repetitive. And really, after the first few videos, you begin to wonder "well when is the good part!? Where is the SBI secret!?" Well, I hate to break it to you, but you won't find a satisfying "SBI secret" on this site. Or the internet. Or the world.

But oh well, at least they did a great job of providing easy to understand explanations right? Well that's what I thought, so after I finished the super long courses, I started up the web site creator. When I first opened it, I was dumbfounded. I had been using Freewebs (NO I"M NOT PROMOTING THEM) and I was used to their graphically appealing control panel, and when I saw SBI's extremely plain creation tools, I thought it was a joke. In fact, it was pretty similar to the control panel of the blog I'm writing on now. Maybe they have changed it now, but I remember that feeling of utter disappointment. $300 worth of disappointment. But I did get a refund, which I am thankful for.

To summarize my opinion:

- The SBI training is ridiculously boring and repetitive
- It is NOT worth $300, in fact there are better FREE web hosting and guides
- the SBI site creator tool was an absolute abomination (maybe still is)
- I hated the male's commentary
- SBI is way over hyped because of their $75 affiliate commision
- I am simply amazed that creator expects $300 for SBI
- SBI is a perfect example of an over-promoted product with a far too high perceived value
- SBI is bad,bad, bad!

So people, that's the end. I'm not going to say "WELL, NOW YOU SHOULD TRY THIS PRODUCT INSTEAD. IT REALLY WORKS!" Instead I leave you with the following advice.

Learn how to Google the term "free marketing eBooks"

Trial and error my friends, trial and error.
